Abstract:
A condenser (3) includes: a heat exchanger (3) having a refrigerant flow channel (33) and a refrigerant flow channel (34); and a flow channel switching unit (6) configured to perform switching so as to sequentially flow a refrigerant (in the direction DB) to the refrigerant flow channel (33) and the refrigerant flow channel (34) or to flow the refrigerant (in the direction DA) at one time to the refrigerant flow channels. An air conditioning apparatus (100) is provided with: an outdoor temperature detection unit (11) that measures an outdoor air temperature Ta; and a control device (30) that controls, on the basis of an output of the outdoor temperature detection unit (11), the switching to be performed by the flow channel switching unit (6). The air conditioning apparatus (100) is characterized by having, in the cases where a detected outdoor temperature is higher than a threshold value, a longer length of each of the refrigerant flow channels in the heat exchanger (3b) or higher refrigerant flow rate of each of the refrigerant flow channels compared with the cases where the outdoor temperature is lower than the threshold value.
