Abstract:
An air conditioning device in which an indoor unit and an outdoor unit are connected via refrigerant piping through which refrigerant flows comprises a refrigerant detection unit that detects refrigerant leaks in the indoor unit, a notification unit for giving notification that a refrigerant leak has occurred, a control unit that controls at least the notification unit, and a remote control for operating the indoor unit. The control unit controls the notification unit so as to give notification in a first manner that a refrigerant leak has occurred if a refrigerant leak is detected by the refrigerant detection unit and to give notification in a second manner, which is different from the first manner, after a fixed time passes from the notification in the first manner. Thus, by giving notifications pertaining to refrigerant leaks in two steps in the first manner and the second manner, a user can easily be made to notice and attend to the notification and the refrigerant leak can be made well known.
