Abstract:
There is a need for a novel approach to refrigerant piping design for an air conditioning device including, within a casing and arranged vertically, a heat-source-side heat exchanger, a use-side heat exchanger, and a machine room. An air conditioning device (100) includes a compressor (1), a first heat exchanger (3), a second heat exchanger (6), a casing (10), a first pipe (61, 61a, 61b), and a second pipe (62). The first heat exchanger (3) is disposed below the second heat exchanger (6). The first heat exchanger (3) includes a first end part (3a) for connection with the first pipe (61, 61a, 61b). The second pipe (62) and at least a portion of the first pipe (61, 61a, 61b) are disposed overlapping one another as seen as a horizontal view of the first end part (3a).
