Abstract:
An air-conditioning device (101) in which an indoor unit (2) and an outdoor unit (3) are connected by three cores of a power line (4), a common line (5), and a signal line (6), and commercial power is supplied through the power line and the common line. The indoor unit is provided with a first switch (7) that opens and closes the connection between the power line and the signal line. The outdoor unit is provided with: a second switch (9) that opens and closes the connection between the power line and the outdoor unit; an outdoor rectifier (10); an outdoor smoothing unit (11); and a third switch (12) that connects, in the off state, the signal line to a resistor (13) connected to the subsequent stage of the second switch, and opens in the on state. When starting up and operating the outdoor unit from the standby state, by turning on the first switch while the third switch is off, an inrush current is passed into the outdoor smoothing unit through the indoor unit to charge the outdoor smoothing unit, and after charging, the second switch is turned on and then the first switch is turned off and the third switch is turned on.
