Abstract:
This air conditioning indoor unit comprises: a heat exchanger for a refrigerant circuit; a drain pan disposed below the heat exchanger; a blower for delivering air to the heat exchanger; a control box for accommodating a controlling component for operatively controlling the blower, etc.; and a housing. The heat exchanger, the drain pan, the blower, and the control box are accommodated within the housing. The housing has formed therein a drain pan extraction/insertion opening. A hinge is provided on a side plate of the housing, and the control box is connected to the housing through the hinge so that the control box can be stowed into and extracted from the drain pan extraction/insertion opening of the housing. As a result of this configuration, the drain pan can be mounted in and removed from the housing only by removing in-unit wiring from the control box without removing the control box from the housing.
