Provided is an air conditioning system. The air conditioning system is connected in a three-phase power line, and is coupled to a three-phase coupler by means of the three-phase power line. The air conditioning system comprises an outdoor unit, and the outdoor unit comprises a power line carrier communication gateway and a controller. The controller is configured to: control the power line carrier communication gateway to send a networking signal to the three-phase coupler; and control the power line carrier communication gateway to receive a first response signal forwarded by the three-phase coupler and in response to the first response signal, perform networking with a first device sending the first response signal. The three-phase coupler is further configured to, when a target address carried by the first response signal is the same as an address of the power line carrier communication gateway recorded by the three-phase coupler, forward the first response signal to a device connected to any power line of the three-phase power line.
