Abstract:
An air-conditioning system (51) wherein outdoor units and indoor units communicate through a relay device (61), the air-conditioning system being equipped with: the relay device (61), which is equipped with multiple communication ports; multiple communication networks (101), each of which forms a logical connection relationship with a respective communication port; and multiple nodes (71), each of which forms a logical connection relationship with a respective communication network (101). Each of the multiple nodes (71) is associated with an outdoor unit or an indoor unit, with any one of the multiple nodes (71) being set as the first node and any one of the multiple nodes (71) other than the first node being set as a second node. When a communication frame has been transmitted from the first node to the second node and a reception confirmation signal from the second node is not received, the relay device (61) applies a restriction with respect to the number of retransmissions when the communication frame is retransmitted to the second node.
