Abstract:
This air conditioning system (10) is provided with an air conditioner (2), an ion-generating device (23), and a microbe detection device (5). The air conditioner (2) generates an air flow inside of the vehicle cabin (3). The ion-generating device (23) generates ions and pumps the ions into the vehicle cabin (3) by means of the air flow from the air conditioner (2). The microbe detection device (5) repeatedly detects the amount of microbes floating in the vehicle cabin (3). This air conditioning system (10) controls the amount of ions pumped into the vehicle cabin (3) depending on the detection results of the microbe detection device (5).
