Abstract:
The present invention has: an air conditioner; a plurality of sensors; and a controller that is provided inside the air conditioner, the controller controlling the operation of an indoor unit and an outdoor unit on the basis of information detected by the plurality of sensors. The controller is provided with: a communication means for obtaining, from an external device, an energy-saving control command for carrying out energy-saving work; a control-determining means for determining whether or not an energy-saving control command has been inputted to the communication means; a control information-generating means for generating energy-saving control information for carrying out energy-saving work on the basis of the information that is detected by the plurality of sensors; and a drive-controlling means for controlling the operation of the indoor unit and the outdoor unit using the energy-saving control command when the control-determining means determines that the energy-saving control command has been inputted, and for controlling the operation of the indoor unit and the outdoor unit on the basis of the energy-saving control information generated by the control information-generating means when it is determined that the energy-saving control command has not been inputted.
