This air conditioning system is provided with a heat pump (12), a first liquid medium circuit (14) through which a first liquid medium circulates, a second liquid medium circuit (16) through which a second liquid medium circulates, a heat source (22, 58), a connection switching device (19, 68), and a control device (20). The second liquid medium circuit is provided independent of the first liquid medium circuit. The connection switching device switches the heat source between being connected to and not being connected to the second liquid medium circuit. A refrigerant heat-radiating section (26) of the heat pump includes a liquid heater (27) that moves the heat of the refrigerant to the first liquid medium by allowing heat exchange between the first liquid medium and the refrigerant. A liquid cooler (35) of the heat pump moves the heat of the second liquid medium to the refrigerant by allowing heat exchange between the second liquid medium and the refrigerant. The control device causes the connection switching device to switch the heat source between being connected to and not being connected to the second liquid medium circuit, on the basis of a heat-related physical quantity relating to the heat of the first liquid medium circuit, the second liquid medium circuit, the heat source, and the heat pump.
