Abstract:
The air conditioning system according to the present invention includes: an outdoor unit; an indoor unit which is connected to the outdoor unit by a transmission line; and a state detection unit which is provided in the outdoor unit or the indoor unit, and detects a connection state of the transmission line between the outdoor unit and the indoor unit. The state detection unit has: a timer which measures a response time, which is a time from when data is transmitted to when reception data is received through the transmission line between the outdoor unit and the indoor unit; and a control circuit which detects the connection state on the basis of the response time measured by the timer.
