Abstract:
Provided is an air conditioning system that can perform sufficient cleaning of an indoor heat exchanger by using moisture in indoor air even when the indoor air is dry before operation. An air conditioning system (1) includes: an air conditioner (10) having an indoor unit (2) and an outdoor unit (4); a humidifier (6); and a control unit (8). The indoor unit (2) has an indoor heat exchanger (21), and performs heat exchange of indoor air by allowing the indoor air to pass through the indoor heat exchanger (21). The humidifier (6) performs humidification by adding moisture to the indoor air to increase indoor humidity. The control unit (8) controls the indoor unit (2) and the humidifier (6). The control unit (8) controls, in a cleaning mode, the humidifier (6) so that the indoor humidity is increased, and then controls the indoor unit (2) to perform a cleaning operation in which a surface of the indoor heat exchanger (21) is cleaned by producing condensation water on the surface.
