Abstract:
This air conditioning unit for a vehicle is provided with an air conditioning case (12), a blower (14) which is contained in the air conditioning case, and a cooling heat exchanger (16) which is contained in the air conditioning case on the air flow upstream side of the blower. The blower has a suction opening (145) for sucking in air and is disposed so that the suction opening faces the cooling heat exchanger in an axial direction. The cooling heat exchanger has a facing portion (163) which faces the suction opening in the axial direction, and a non-facing portion (164) which does not face the suction opening in the axial direction. The facing portion is disposed so as to be surrounded by the non-facing portion. The air conditioning case has formed therein a plurality of air introduction openings (121, 122) located at positions other than the position of a projection area (PA) on which the facing portion is projected in the axial direction toward the air flow upstream side. Some of the plurality of air introduction openings are formed at positions on the opposite side of the projection area from a position where at least one of the remaining air introduction openings is formed.
