Abstract:
Provided is an air curtain device that can prevent the leakage of cold air to the outside from a gap between the floor of a platform of a truck and the floor of a dock shelter, as well as the entry of air or moisture into the dock shelter from the outside. At an edge of a floor 3c of a dock shelter 3, provided are: a nozzle part 11 disposed along the edge; a fan unit 12 disposed in the upper portion of the dock shelter 3; and a duct 13 that connects the nozzle part 11 and the fan unit 12. Air drawn in by the fan unit 12 passes through the duct 13 and is supplied to the nozzle part 11, and is blown from the nozzle part 11 towards the truck in the horizontal or diagonally downward direction, and thus, it is possible to prevent the leakage of cold air from the gap to the outside, as well as the entry of air and moisture into the dock shelter from the outside.
