Abstract:
A air discharge valve (23) configured in such a manner that, when the pressure at the primary port (24) is higher than or equal to a predetermined pressure, the valve element (34) is separated from the valve seat (35) to release air at the primary port (24) to the atmospheric pressure port (25) to thereby adjust the pressure at the primary port (24). A shuttle (33) is contained in the housing (31) so as to be able to reciprocate in the axial direction, and the shuttle (33) is provided with a pressure receiving head section (33a) which forms a pressure chamber (47) having a cross-sectional area greater than the cross-sectional area of the air flow path formed between the valve element (34) and the valve seat (35). A holder (36) which holds a spring member for causing the valve element (34) to close the primary port (24) is provided within the housing (31), and a discharge flow path which has a smaller cross-sectional area than the pressure chamber (47) is provided in the housing (31).
