The invention relates to an air extraction system comprising an easily mountable and demountable extraction device to remove air above a table, said extraction device comprising a hood (1) with at least one inlet (2) and at least one outlet (3), at least one ventilator that transports air from the inlet through the hood to the outlet, and a leg assembly (4) comprising at least one leg to support the hood, so that the hood can be placed on or near a table (10).
