Abstract:
Provided is an air filter medium with which reductions in collection efficiency can be suppressed when a main collection layer and a pre-collection layer with collection efficiency lower than the main collection layer are used. An air filter medium (1) for collecting dust in a gas is provided with a main collection layer (30) and a pre-collection layer (10) having a lower collection efficiency for NaCl with a particle size of 0.3 µm than the main collection layer (30), disposed more on the upstream side of the gas flow than the main collection layer (30), and having water repelling properties.
