AMENDED CLAIMS

received by the International Bureau on 2 July 2019 (02.07.2019)

[Claim 1] An air purification apparatus comprising a housing, the housing

comprising:

(a) a particulate filter array enhanced with electrostatic charge and modified both in composition and properties as to become super elec trically conductive and to work as a collector plate in one,

(b) an inlet for accepting inflow of air to be purified into the housing and directing it towards the particulate filter array,

(c) different chemical sorbents characterized by the ability to photo- catalytic oxidize airborne pollutants and to start their decomposition coated in bands into the internal cavity of the main housing conduit,

(d) a conduit for directing the air to be purified from the particulate filter to the chemical filter characterized by the ability to remove and neutralize pollutants from the air, and

(e) an outlet for expelling from the housing purified air from the chemical filter

wherein the air purification apparatus comprises a fastener for attaching the air purification apparatus to an item of street furniture.

[Claim 2] An air purification apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the par ticulate filter array may be of type HEPA, ULPA or any other type with air filtration and/or purification capabilities.

[Claim 3] An air purification apparatus as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2, wherein the particulate filter composition has in its structure one or multiple elements in a positive oxidation state and which may use immobilised cell technology characterized by attracting charged particulates to a bioreactor which enzymatically renders them inert.

[Claim 4] An air purification apparatus as claimed in claim 3, wherein the

element in a positive oxidation state can be of type metal.

[Claim 5] An air purification apparatus as claimed in claim 4, wherein the metal can be a superconductor and of type magnesium and/or zinc and/or copper or any combination.

[Claim 6] An air purification apparatus as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, wherein the air purification apparatus comprises an electrostatic generator having an electrical connection to the particulate filter.

[Claim 7] An air purification apparatus as claimed in claim 6, wherein the elec trostatic generator is capable of applying a charge to the particulate filter of 1 kV to 500 kV. [Claim 8] An air purification apparatus as claimed in claim 7, wherein the elec trostatic generator is capable of applying a charge to the particulate filter of 5 kV to 100 kV.

[Claim 9] An air purification apparatus as claimed in any one of claims 6-8, wherein the electrical connection from the electrostatic generator to the particulate filter array comprises a conductive material which can be of type metal coated with a superconducting substance.

[Claim 10] An air purification apparatus as claimed in any one of the preceding claims additionally comprising at least one fan for directing flow of air to be purified into the inlet.

[Claim 11] An air purification apparatus as claimed in claim 10, wherein the at least one fan is capable of generating a flow of air into the inlet of 600-15200 m3 of air per hour.

[Claim 12] An air purification apparatus as claimed in any one of the preceding claims comprising one or more fans for directing flow of air through the particulate filter and/or directing flow of air over the chemical sorbent.

[Claim 13] An air purification apparatus as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, wherein the chemical sorbent is capable of removing one or more of NOx, C02, CO, 03, NH3 and S03.

[Claim 14] An air purification apparatus as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, wherein the chemical sorbent is one of more of activated carbon and graphite crystals.

[Claim 15] An air purification apparatus as claimed in any one of the preceding claims additionally comprising one or more pressure sensors for monitoring the pressure of air inside the air purification apparatus.

[Claim 16] An air purification apparatus as claimed in any one of the preceding claims additionally comprising a heater for heating the air prior to it being expelled from the outlet and/or a cooling device for cooling the air prior to it being expelled from the outlet and/or a movable, omni directional, passive device to direct the air flow in any direction.

[Claim 17] An air purification apparatus as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, wherein the fastener can be any type of fastener.

[Claim 18] An item of street furniture comprising the air purification apparatus as claimed in any one of the preceding claims.

[Claim 19] An item of street furniture as claimed in claim 18, wherein the item of street furniture can be a street light and/or any other.
