Abstract:
Provided is an air flow measurement device that measures air flow on the basis of output values from a sensing unit (10) disposed in an environment in which air flows. The air flow measurement device comprises an average air volume calculation unit (37), pulse amplitude calculation units (36, 38), pulse error prediction units (39, 39a–39e), and a pulse error correction unit (40). The average air volume calculation unit calculates, from the output values, an average air volume which is the average air flow. The pulse amplitude calculation unit finds, from the output value, a maximum pulse value which is the maximum air flow value, and calculates an air flow pulse amplitude by finding the difference between the maximum pulse value and the average air volume. The pulse error prediction units predict an air flow pulse error correlated with the pulse amplitude. The pulse error correction unit uses the pulse error predicted by the pulse error prediction units to correct the air flow so as to reduce the pulse error.
