WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:

1. An air freshener, comprising: a cap (1) mounted on a bottle or aerosol container (2), ; characterized in that said cap (1) consisting fragrance, essential oil, aromatic compounds, polymer, copolymer, monomer, resin, PVC, wax, paraffin, or a combination thereof; said cap (1) diffusing fragrance or essential oil therein.

2. The air freshener as claimed in Claim 1 wherein said cap (1) comprising an outer shell (11) encapsulating external surface of said cap (1).

3. The air freshener as claimed in Claim 1 or 2 wherein said cap (1) comprising an inner shell (13) encapsulating internal surface of said cap (1).

4. The air freshener as claimed in Claim 3 wherein said inner shell (13) couples said bottle or aerosol container (2). 5. The air freshener as claimed in Claim 2 wherein said outer shell (11) comprising at least one aperture (118) or at least one channel (120), or combination thereof, to enable diffusing of composition content said cap (1).

6. The air freshener as claim in Claim 5 wherein said outer shell (11) is made of permeable or partial-permeable material, or a combination thereof.

7. The air freshener as claimed in Claim 1 wherein said fragrance is synthetic based or natural based. 8. The air freshener as claimed in Claim 1 wherein said essential oil is natural based or synthetic based.

9. The air freshener as claimed in Claim 1 wherein said cap (1) further consists of additives.

10. The air freshener as claimed in Claim 9 wherein said additives are talc, coloring, pigments, absorbents, or combination thereof.

11. The air freshener as claimed in Claim 1 wherein said cap (1) further consists of solvent

12. The air freshener as claimed in Claim 1 wherein said polymer, copolymer, monomer, resin, PVC, wax, or paraffin are pre-treated or impregnated with natural aromatic hydrocarbons or synthetic aromatics.

13. The air freshener as claimed in Claim 1 wherein said bottle or aerosol container (2) further comprises of at least one internal closure which is encapsulated by said cap (1).

14. The air freshener as claimed in Claim 13 wherein said internal closure can be dispenser system, seal material, insert or internal cap.

15. The air freshener as claimed in Claim 14 wherein said dispenser system comprises of at least one pump (4) and at least one nozzle / actuator. 16. The air freshener as claimed in Claim 14 wherein said dispenser system comprises of at least one pump (4), at least one pump ring (6) and at least one nozzle / actuator (6).

17. The air freshener as claimed in Claim 14 wherein said dispenser system comprises of at least one valve and at least one nozzle / actuator (6). 18. The air freshener as claimed in Claim 1 wherein said outer shell (11) and inner shell (13) form at least one diffusing region (15) therebetween, to enable diffusion of composition of said cap (1).

19. The air freshener as claimed in Claim 18 wherein said diffusing region (15) comprising at least one aperture (18) or at least one channel (20), or combination thereof, to enable diffusing of composition of said cap (1).

20. The air freshener as claimed in Claim 18 and 19 wherein said diffusing region (15) is made of permeable or partial-permeable material.

21. The air freshener as claimed in Claim 1 wherein said cap (1) is prepared by methods of hot mix or cold mix.

22. The air freshener as claimed in Claim 1 or 21 wherein said cap (1) contains same as or different aroma or scent from fluid (22) in said bottle or aerosol container (2).

Description:
AIR FRESHENER

1. TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention generally relates to an air freshener mounted on a bottle, an aerosol container, or the like, diffusing fragrance or essential oil therein, comprising; a cap consisting fragrance, essential oil, aromatic compounds, additives, polymer, copolymer, monomer, resin, PVC, wax, or paraffin, or a combination thereof. Alternatively, said cap is disposed an outer shell and an inner shell therebetween.

2. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Aerosol container caps are also generally disposed after the content of the spray can is consumed. Also, caps generally serve as a protection of nozzle means of a bottle or aerosol container cans from any direct contact with other elements. Most importantly, bottle and aerosol container caps are generally not sealed in a store display shelf which usually prompts a consumer to remove the cap of the spray can to sample the fragrant therein, which may reduce the actual content of the spray after a numerous of sampling has taken place. In short, a consumer might not procure the exact amount worth of spray. Hence to alleviate these shortcomings, a cap consists a composition therein, acting as an air freshener. Moreover, the cap may contain aroma same as or different from the aroma inside the spray can.

3. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, it is the primary aim of the present invention to provide bottle or aerosol cap embedded with fragrance, essential oil, or the like, acts as an air freshener.

It is the yet another object of the present invention to provide the cap diffusing aromatic property embedded therein.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a cap disposed between an inner and an outer shell.

It is an object of the present invention to provide at least one aperture or at least one channel on the outer shell or diffusing region to enable diffusion of fragrance.

It is yet another object of the present invention to provide a cap which encapsulating an inner shell.

It is yet another object of the present invention to consist a composition of fragrance, essential oil, aromatic compounds, additives, polymer, copolymer, monomer, resin, PVC, wax, or paraffin, or a combination thereof.

It is yet another object of the present invention to pre-treat or impregnate polymer, copolymer, monomer, resin, PVC, wax, or paraffin with natural aromatic hydrocarbons or synthetic aromatics.

Additional objects of the invention will become apparent with an understanding of the following detailed description of the invention or upon employment of the invention in actual practice.

According to the preferred embodiment of the present invention the following is provided:

An air freshener, comprising: a cap (1) mounted on a bottle or aerosol container (2); characterized in that said cap (1) consisting fragrance, essential oil, aromatic compounds, additives, polymer, copolymer, monomer, resin, PVC, wax, paraffin, or a combination thereof; said cap (1) diffusing fragrance or essential oil therein.

4. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Other aspect of the present invention and their advantages will be discerned after studying the Detailed Description in conjunction with the accompanying drawings in which:

5. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

In the following detailed description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the invention. However, it will be understood by the person having ordinary skill in the art that the invention may be practised without these specific details. In other instances, well known methods, procedures and/or components have not been described in detail so as not to obscure the invention.

The invention will be more clearly understood from the following description of the embodiments thereof, given by way of example only with reference to the accompanying drawings, which are not drawn to scale.

Referring to FIG. 1A and IB, there is shown an exemplary side view of the present invention, a cap (1) is mounted on typical bottle or aerosol container (2). The bottle or aerosol container (2) may (FIG IB) or may not (FIG 1A) have at least one internal enclosure which is encapsulated by said cap (1). The internal enclosure can be dispenser system, seal material, insert or internal cap. The dispenser system is used to dispense the content of the bottle or aerosol container (2) to the atmosphere. The dispenser system can comprise of, but not limited to, the following configurations: (a) pump (4) and nozzle / actuator (8), (b) pump (4), pump ring (6) and nozzle / actuator (8) or (c) valve and nozzle / actuator (8). FIG 1 shows configuration (b). Usually a nozzle / actuator (8) is depressed downward to create differential pressure inside a pump (4), thus drawing out or dispense an amount of fluid (22) in a bottle or aerosol container (2), the fluid (22) which can be fragrance, deodorant, perfume, shampoo, lotion or the like in liquid, liquid/ gas phase, multi-phase fluid, powder/ gas phase, liquid paste or solid paste to the atmosphere. Also commonly known, a pump ring (6) can be clamped the pump (4) externally to secure the pump (4) position on the bottle or aerosol container (2). The insert or internal cap can be any form of enclosure which add another layer of enclosure to the bottle besides the cap (1) so that when the cap (1) is removed from the bottle (2), the content of the bottle (2) still can be contained. Another optional can be done so that the insert or internal cap can have at least one opening to allow a controlled amount of content of the bottle to be discharged when needed. The cap (1) consisting a blend of fragrance, essential oil, aromatic compounds, additives, polymer, copolymer, monomer, resin, PVC, wax, paraffin, or a combination thereof. Said fragrance can be synthetic or natural based, and the essential oil can be natural or synthetic based. Examples of polymer are such as amide polymer, ethyl vinyl acetate, and others.

Referring now to FIGS. 2-A and 2-B, there are shown two caps (1) with different shape. The cap (1) mounted on a bottle or aerosol container (2), can diffuse at atmospheric pressure, a fragrance or essential oil therein, comprising: an inner shell (13) couples said bottle or aerosol container (2) dispenser system to secure said cap on said bottle. The diffusion of the fragrance or essential oil is demarcated by dotted arrows.

The cap (1) encapsulating external surface of said inner shell (13), consisting a blend of fragrance, essential oil, aromatic compounds, additives, polymer, copolymer, monomer, resin, PVC, wax, paraffin, or a combination thereof. Said fragrance is synthetic or natural based, and the essential oil is natural or synthetic based.

However, a person skilled in the arts may appreciate that said polymer, copolymer, monomer, resin, PVC, wax, or paraffin are pre-treated or impregnated/ diffused with natural aromatic hydrocarbons or synthetic aroma tics.

The cap (1) is prepared by methods of hot mix or cold mix. One example of hot mix method is to soak said cap (1) with base ingredient and fragrance (with optional additives and/ or solvent) before heat up and mould said cap. Another hot mix method is to heat up the base ingredient with /without additives and/ or solvent before mould and then soak in fragrance with / without additives and/ or solvent One example of cold mix is to mix base ingredient with fragrance (with optional additives and/ or solvent before mix well and leave it for solidification). Moreover, the fragrance or essential oil composition embedded in the cap (1) can be same as or different from aroma or scent of the fluid (22).

At least one additive can be added to the blend of composition such as talc, colouring, pigments, absorbents, or combination thereof. Additives can be anything that can be used to strengthen the base material, enhance characteristic of the base material or enhance the aesthetics of the base material. At least one type of solvent can also be optionally added to the blend of composition.

Referring to FIG. 2-A, there is shown another embodiment of the cap freshener (1) with an inner shell (13) but without an outer shell. Here in this example, the cap (1) is encapsulating the inner shell (13). The diffusion of fragrance embedded in the cap (1) is demarcated by dotted arrows.

Referring to FIG. 2-B, there is shown another embodiment of the cap freshener (1) with an outer shell (11) but without an inner shell. Here in this example, the cap (1) is encapsulating by the outer shell (13). Again, the diffusion of fragrance embedded in the cap (1) is demarcated by dotted arrows. Referring now to FIGS. 3- A and 3-B, there are shown two caps (1) with different shape. It is important to note that the shape of the cap (1) can be any form as long as it is able to encapsulate the bottle or aerosol container (2). The cap (1) mounted on a bottle or aerosol container (2), can diffuse at atmospheric pressure, a fragrance or essential oil therein, comprising: an inner shell (13) is encapsulating the inner surface of the cap (1), the inner shell (13) couples said bottle or aerosol container (2) dispenser system to secure said cap (1) on said bottle or aerosol container (2), and an outer shell (11) is encapsulating external surface of said cap (1). The diffusion of the fragrance or essential oil is demarcated by dotted arrows.

Moreover, said outer shell (11) and inner shell (13) form at least one diffusing region (15) therebetween, to enable diffusion of composition content of said cap (1). Said diffusing region (15) comprising at least one aperture (18) or at least one channel (20), or combination thereof, to enable diffusing of composition content said cap (1). Said diffusing region (15) is made of permeable or partial-permeable material.

Referring to FIG. 3-C, there is shown the bottom view of FIGS. 3-A and 3-B, the diffusing region (15) comprising at least one aperture (18) or at least one channel (20), or combination thereof, to enable diffusing of composition content said cap (1). Said diffusing region (15) is made of permeable or partial-permeable material. Said outer shell (11) and inner shell (13) form at least one diffusing region (15) therebetween, to enable diffusion of composition content of said cap (1). Said diffusing region (15) comprising at least one aperture (18) or at least one channel (20), or combination thereof, to enable diffusing of composition content said cap (1). Said diffusing region (15) is made of permeable or partial-permeable material.

Referring to FIGS. 4-A and 4-B, there are shown another embodiment of the present invention. The outer shell (11) is encapsulating external surface of the cap (1). The outer shell (11) is made of permeable or partial-permeable material or a combination thereof to allow diffusion of fragrance in the cap (1). The inner shell (13) can also be made of permeable or partial-permeable materials.

The outer shell (11) comprising at least one aperture (118) or at least one channel (120), or combination thereof, to enable diffusing of composition content said cap (1).

Again in this example, said outer shell (11) and inner shell (13) form at least one diffusing region (15) therebetween, to enable diffusion of composition content of said cap (1). Said diffusing region (15) comprising at least one aperture (18) or at least one channel (20), or combination thereof, to enable diffusing of composition content said cap (1). Said diffusing region (15) is made of permeable or partial-permeable material. Both the cap (1) and the bottle (2) can functional independently, whereby it is an option to use the cap (1) without the bottle (2) and/ or to use the bottle (2) without the cap (1) or used together.

While the present invention has been shown and described herein in what are considered to be the preferred embodiments thereof, illustrating the results and advantages over the prior art obtained through the present invention, and the invention is not limited to those specific embodiments. Thus, the forms of the invention shown and described herein are to be taken as illustrative only and other embodiments may be selected without departing from the scope of the present invention, as set forth in the claims appended hereto.
