Abstract:
Air fresheners are well known and are used to scent various environments such as vehicles. However, such air fresheners can only operate for a short period of time, before the scent wears off, or is used up. Conventionally, such air fresheners are considered disposable. The present invention provides a sustainable air freshener 10, comprising: a solid body textile 12 allowing air ventilation on, around or through the apparatus. In this way, the air freshener 10 is designed to be efficient, simple and inexpensive, and can be utilized in many convenient ways (mostly automotive) and allows construction in a wide variety of conventional shapes, sizes and materials, while at the same time being completely reusable by reinfusing/recharging the material by directly or indirectly covering the air freshener in the fragranced oil or perfume.
