Abstract:
[Problem] To inexpensively provide a highly heat-resistant air hose for an automobile. [Solution] An air hose for an automobile, said hose having a two-layer structure comprising an inner tube 1 made of an NBR composition and an outer skin 2 made of a CSM composition, wherein the NBR composition satisfies (A) and (B) as follows. (A) Unvulcanized NBR having an AN amount of 30-50 and a Mooney viscosity (ML(1+4)100°C) of 50-90 is vulcanized in the presence of 0.5-7.0 parts by mass of a thiuram-based compound representing a vulcanization accelerator, 0-2.5 parts by mass of 4,4'-dithiodimorpholine, and 2.0-7.0 parts by mass of a thiazole-based per 100 parts by mass of the unvulcanized NBR. (B) 5-50 mass parts of a plasticizer having a molecular weight of 700-2000 is added per 100 mass parts of the unvulcanized NBR.
