Abstract:
The present invention relates to an air injection apparatus which is installed in a construction vehicle, such as an excavator, and used to inject compressed air to clean and service the construction vehicle, the air injection apparatus for cleaning construction vehicles comprising: an air compressor; and an air gun, connected to the air compressor by an air hose, for injecting compressed air generated by the air compressor, wherein the air gun comprises: a body having an inlet and an outlet for circulation of the compressed air, and an inner circulation channel for connecting the inlet and the outlet; a trigger, attached to the body, for opening and closing the circulation channel; and a nozzle attached to the outlet of the body, and having a jet outlet in the interior, the nozzle being provided with a flow increasing means in which the outside air is sucked in due to the compressed air, which passes though the jet outlet and is injected, and is injected along with the compressed air. By allowing the amount of air injected to be increased by utilizing outside air by means of the flow increasing means, the air injection apparatus for cleaning construction vehicles according to the present invention can provide a large amount of injected air from a small amount of compressed air, and accordingly, even when compressed air generated by the air compressor is immediately utilized, an adequate amount of air can be injected continuously, and thus a small low-capacity air tank may be used or an air tank may be excluded from the apparatus, and therefore the present invention has the benefit of allowing the apparatus to be miniaturized and the production cost to be reduced.
