Provided is an air-intake device that can improve uniformity between EGR gas and air inside an air-intake introduction pipe without increasing external dimensions. The air-intake device includes: a plurality of branched pipes (27 to 30) that are arranged in parallel to one another, that communicate at the respective downstream ends thereof with respective air-intake ports (14) provided in a side section of an engine (10), and that extend from the downstream ends to the respective upstream ends in a curved manner; an air-intake chamber (26) which communicates with the upstream ends of the respective branched pipes; and an air-intake introduction pipe (25), the downstream end of which communicates with the air-intake chamber. The air-intake introduction pipe has: a downstream section (34) that extends from the air-intake chamber, between two adjacent branched pipes, and in parallel to the branched pipes; and an upstream section (35) that extends from the upstream end of the downstream section, through a space defined between the branched pipes and the engine, and out toward the direction in which the branched pipes are lined up. The upstream section has an EGR introduction hole (41) for introducing EGR gas to the interior of the upstream section.
