Abstract:
An air intake structure for a compressor is provided with: an air intake duct having formed therein an air intake opening open in the direction opposite the center axis of the compressor; and a bell mouth having formed therein an annular flow passage expanding from the inlet of the compressor toward a space inside the air intake duct, the bell mouth including a plurality of struts for connecting an inner casing which is located inside the annular flow passage and an outer casing which is located outside the annular flow passage. Among the plurality of struts, at least one of a plurality of struts arranged laterally and located on both sides of a center plane which passes through both the center axis of the compressor and the center of the air intake opening has: a rear edge located on an imaginary plane passing through the center axis of the compressor; and a front edge located on the air intake opening side relative to the imaginary plane.
