Abstract:
Disclosed is a jet loom for the production of biased fabrics, wherein a nozzle for supplying weft yarn, a heald frame which forms an opening for the passage of the weft yarn, and a body for pushing the weft yarn which has passed through the opening to a fell plate are arranged along an oblique line to have a predetermined angle relative to the draw-in direction of the warp yarn, to thereby produce biased fabrics without limitations in length, and to improve the reliability of products and shorten processes, thus contributing to a reduction in production costs. The air jet loom according to the present invention includes a pair of fixing frames, and a fell plate, a weft yarn supply air nozzle, a body, and a heald frame, which are sequentially arranged between the pair of the fixing frames, wherein the heald frame lifts and lowers the warp yarn being supplied to form an opening for the passage of the weft yarn. Here, the fell plate, the weft yarn supply air nozzle, the body, and the hearld frame of the air jet loom are tilted between the fixing frames to have either an acute angle or an obtuse angle relative to the draw-in direction of the warp yarn being supplied to produce biased fabrics. The fell plate, the weft yarn supply air nozzle, the body, and the heald frame have the same angle.
