Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of air-jet looms, and in particular to an air-jet loom weft yarn protection device. The device comprises a rack which is provided in a "]" shape, an electric telescopic rod is fixedly provided on a top end surface of the rack, a telescopic end of the electric telescopic rod penetrates the rack, a concave structured upper cover is fixedly provided on a tail end of the telescopic end of the electric telescopic rod, a through hole is provided at a central location of a left end surface of the upper cover, and when a member of staff switches on the electric telescopic rod, the telescopic end of the electric telescopic rod drives the upper cover to move upward, at which time a bobbin yarn sleeve is placed on a support, and a switch of the support abuts against an inner sidewall of the bobbin yarn sleeve, achieving a fixation operation of the bobbin yarn sleeve. At which time, the member of staff passes one end of a weft yarn through a lead loop and the through hole on the left end surface of the upper cover, and then enables the telescopic end of the electric telescopic rod to drive the upper cover to move downward, achieving the shielding of the bobbin yarn sleeve to prevent dust from falling on the weft yarn when the device is stopped for repair.
