Abstract:
This air leak inspection device 1a is provided with a vacuum pump 3, an exhaust tube 4, and a vacuum gauge 6. A shut-off valve V0 is provided in the exhaust tube on the downstream side of the vacuum gauge. In addition, an exhaust fine tube 5 is provided, which has a smaller diameter than the exhaust tube, branches from the upstream side of the shutoff valve, and is connected to the downstream side of the shutoff valve. When the shutoff valve is opened, an object to be inspected is exhausted through the exhaust tube and the exhaust fine tube, and when the detected pressure of the vacuum gauge reaches a first threshold value, and the shutoff valve is then closed, it is determined that a leak is present if the detected pressure of the vacuum gauge exceeds a second threshold value greater than the first threshold value.
