Abstract:
Provided are an air lubrication device for a ship and an air lubrication method for a ship, capable of covering the entire bottom of the ship with an air layer having a uniform thickness.
An air lubrication device (20) for a ship is provided with an air discharge device (30) and a suppression section (40). The air discharge device (30) discharges air from the bottom of the ship. The suppression section (40) suppresses a relative reduction in the thickness of the air layer which covers the centerline region of the bottom of the ship.
