Abstract:
The present invention belongs to technical fields regarding air magnesium batteries that use water, and power supply devices that use said batteries. In order to solve the technical problem of providing an air magnesium battery wherein the distance separating an anode and cathodes is relatively small and a relatively large amount of reaction solution can be injected, and wherein a required electromotive force can be stably generated for a fixed period of time, and of providing a power supply device that uses said battery, this air magnesium battery, which has cathodes positioned on both sides of an anode in the transverse direction, is characterized in that: a body has a pair of cathode accommodating parts that extend in the longitudinal direction inside the battery, at least one end of the cathode accommodating parts being open; parts of the cathodes are disposed in the cathode accommodating parts so as to be exposed in the aforementioned inside; and the parts of the cathodes and the anode are positioned so as to be separate and face each other in the transverse direction.
