Abstract:
The present invention relates to an air massage device wherein the force of expansion of an airbag caused by supply of compressed air from a compressor into the airbag is used to pressurize a massage area, and the air is then discharged, thereby releasing the pressurization. The amount of air necessary for one massage session is quickly supplied into the airbag within 1-1.5 seconds. If the pressurizing force drops after the supply is completed, pressurization continues for 3-5 seconds in the dropped state. Air is then discharged. Air is supplied for a rest for 2-3 seconds. The supply is stopped, and air is again discharged for a rest. A time value is used to control the time for such a message session, and another valve is used to control continuous massage of one area for 2-5 minutes. A massage couch of the present invention relates to an electrically controlled massage bed wherein the lower surface of a massage upper plate, which covers the chest/belly of a lying subject, and the bottom, on which the subject lies, are configured twofold, and a Velcro tape is attached to the upper surface of the underlying bottom such that an airbag can be moved and attached to any area with a good massage effect, thereby effectively massaging the upper body, and to a manually controlled massage couch wherein the couch bottom has a groove in which an airbag is placed, and an acupressure pad or acupressure rod above the airbag, thereby massaging the belly. A massage chair of the present invention relates to a best massage device, from which a conventional air massage device for a massage chair is removed, and a valve used instead such that a vigorous body constitution is obtained (optimal massage effect). The massage device has additional massage functions, such as a tapping function using a vibrator, a function of a roll which frictions various parts of a back/waist while being forced against the back/waist and moving upwards/downwards, and a function of a roll which frictions soles, among conventional massage functions of massage chairs, The massage device has excellent design and enhanced user convenience.
