Abstract:
Provided is an air mattress that can suppress excessive sinking of each part of a human body into the air mattress and reduce the contact pressure received by each part of the human body from the air mattress without requiring complicated air management. The air mattress comprises: a plurality of first air cells that are arranged side by side in a first region including the longitudinal center of the air mattress; and a plurality of second air cells and a plurality of third air cells that are respectively arranged side by side in second and third regions adjacent to the first region, and respectively have holding forces, which are capable of maintaining the shape of a support surface on which a user's body is placed, with respect to a load on the support surface, the holding forces being larger than the respective holding forces of the plurality of first air cells.
