The present utility model provides an air microstrip line antenna unit, comprising a grounding layer, an oscillator supported on the grounding layer, and a lower air patch and an upper air patch respectively attached to two opposite sides of the oscillator. The lower air patch is spaced from the grounding layer to form a first air gap, and comprises a lower window structure surrounded by a lower microstrip circuit and a feed circuit extending from the lower microstrip circuit. The upper air patch is spaced from and disposed opposite to the lower air patch. The upper air patch is coupled to the lower microstrip circuit for feeding. The present utility model also provides an antenna system. Compared with the related art, the air microstrip line antenna unit and the antenna system of the present utility model are low in profile, low in production cost, large in isolation degree, and large in bandwidth.
