Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an air polisher configured so that, when stopping the polishing pad, operation of an operation lever can be performed without lifting the palm of the hand, which is grasping the body, from the body. [Solution] An air polisher (10) configured so that when a worker grasps the grip-side (24) of the body (16), which houses an air motor (14) for driving the rotation of the polishing pad (12), an operation lever (18) for operating the opening and closing of an on-off valve (28) that opens and closes a compressed air supply path (26) is pressed by the palm of the hand and moves, thereby opening said on-off valve (28). Said air polisher is configured so that if, while the operation lever (18) is still pressed by the palm of the hand, the operation lever (18) is moved in a direction that intersects with the pressing direction, the on-off valve (28) shifts from an open state to a closed state and driving of the rotation of the polishing pad (12) is stopped.
