Abstract:
Provided are an air pre-heater cleaning time predicting method and an air pre-heater cleaning time predicting apparatus which can predict the time when an air pre-heater will need to be cleaned, even before an increase in pressure difference is actualized. In this air pre-heater cleaning time predicting method, an acidic ammonium sulfate generation amount prediction value, which is obtained from a future residual ammonia concentration (obtained from a residual ammonia concentration rising curve) and a future exhaust gas amount according to a plant utilization plan, is divided by a ratio of acidic ammonium sulfate in deposited ash to thereby obtain a deposited ash generation amount prediction value, and the deposited ash generation amount prediction value is accumulated and is then added to a current ash deposition amount to obtain a future ash deposition amount prediction value. In addition, a time at which the ash deposition amount prediction value is equal to or greater than an ash deposition amount limit value is predicted as the time when the air pre-heater will need to be cleaned.
