An air pump (100), comprising an electric motor (3); an air compression assembly (2) driven by the electric motor (3) for compressing and discharging air; a main housing (119), which accommodates the electric motor (3) and the air compression assembly (2), and has a mounting portion (6) for mounting a direct-current power source; support legs (9), which support the main housing (119), with lower surfaces of the support legs being configured on a bearing surface; a grip portion (115) connected to the main housing (119) and extending parallel to the lower surfaces of the support legs (9); and an operation portion (5) arranged at the top of the main housing (119) for a user to operate to adjust the operating state of the air pump (100). The air pump (100) is further provided with a light assembly (10), wherein the light assembly (10) is located below the operation portion (5) and close to the operation portion (5); the light assembly (10) has at least two operating modes; and the orthographic projection of the operation portion (5) at least partially overlaps with the orthographic projection of the light assembly (10). The air pump (100) has a compact overall structure, occupies a small space, and is aesthetically appealing.
