Abstract:
The present invention relates to an air purification apparatus and, more specifically, to an air purification apparatus controlled according to a plurality of wind modes. According to one aspect of the present invention, provided is the air purification apparatus comprising: a base body having an air suction hole through which air is suctioned; an air blower fan located inside the base body; an indoor temperature measurement sensor for measuring the indoor temperature; a first tower which is disposed above the base body and has a first ejection hole that extends in the up-down direction; a second tower which is disposed above the base body and has a second ejection hole that extends in the up-down direction, wherein the second tower is spaced apart from the first tower, and a blowing space in which air flows is formed between the first and second towers; air current converting devices provided in the first tower and the second tower, respectively, and protruding toward the blowing space; and a control unit for controlling the air blower fan and the air current converting devices according to one of a plurality of preset wind modes. The control unit controls the air blower fan according to an indoor temperature measurement value, measured by the indoor temperature measurement sensor, when a first wind mode among the plurality of wind modes is selected, and controls the air current converting devices so that the air current converting devices are maintained protruding to a first protrusion height for a preset first period of time, and are, for a preset second period of time following the first period of time, repeatedly inserted and protruded again to the first protrusion height.
