Abstract:
An air purification device according to the present invention is provided with: a soil layer (6) which includes an odor component-adsorbing porous material and is air-permeable; an optical catalyst filter (11) which causes odor components in passing air to decompose by bringing the air into contact with an optical catalyst; and a blower means (3A) which causes the air to pass through the soil layer (6) and the optical catalyst filter (11) in this order. The optical catalyst filter (11) is disposed in the form of a layer intersecting the direction in which the air is caused to pass by the blower means (3A), for example. The optical catalyst filter (11) is disposed in a distributed manner in a pathway through which the air is caused to pass by the blower means (3A), for example.
