Abstract:
An air purification device according to the present disclosure is provided with a body case having an air inlet (2) and an air outlet. The body case has an electrolysis tank (34) in which water containing sodium chloride is stored, an electrolysis unit that electrolyzes the water in the electrolysis tank (34) to generate water containing reactive oxygen species, a sterilization section to which the water containing reactive oxygen species in the electrolysis tank (34) is supplied by a reactive oxygen species supplier (19), a gas-liquid contactor that brings the water containing reactive oxygen species in the sterilization section into contact with air, and a blower that blows the air taken in from the air inlet (2) to the air outlet via the gas-liquid contactor. The electrolysis tank (34) is placed higher than the sterilization section.
