An air purification testing method and system, comprising the following steps: drawing indoor air (101); detecting the indoor air to acquire the value of a controlled PM2.5 (102); if the value of the PM2.5 is greater than a set value, controlling a purifier to continue working; and if the value of the PM2.5 is less than the set value, controlling the purifier to stop working (103).
