Abstract:
The present invention relates to an air purifier and a control method therefor. The air conditioner according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: multiple air-purifying modules, each of which is provided with a fan and a filter member, and which are arranged in the vertical direction; a flow control device which is provided over the multiple air-purifying modules and has a circulation fan; a sensor device for sensing the pollution level of an interior space; an input unit into which commands relating to operation modes are input for the operation of the multiple air-purifying modules or the flow control device; and a control unit for selectively operating the fans or the circulation fan and determining the volume of discharged air, on the basis of an operation mode input into the input device or the pollution level sensed by the sensor device.
