Abstract:
An air purifier for disinfection is disclosed. The air purifier for disinfection according to the present invention irradiates ultraviolet rays to air passing through a sterilization chamber of the air purifier to disinfect infectious agents in the air while a person is present indoors, ventilates a room when the indoor air quality is poor, and generates ozone when a person is not present indoors and fills the room with ozone to sterilize and deodorize airborne infectious agents and infectious agents existing in objects and facilities, and removes ozone by ventilating the room. According to the present invention, it is possible to perform economical, efficient, and sanitary disinfection by controlling generation of ozone and ventilation in combination depending on whether a person is present indoors or not.
