A fan (13) comprises a housing (14), an impeller (15) mounted in the housing (14), a motor (16) driving the impeller (15) to rotate, and an air guide apparatus (17) that surrounds the periphery of the impeller (15) and is located in the housing (14). The impeller (15) comprises a plurality of blades (18) distributed on a first circle and rotate and incline in a first clock direction. The air guide apparatus (17) comprises a plurality of air guide pieces (19) that are distributed on a second circle and rotate and incline in a second clock direction opposite to the first clock direction. The second circle is located outside the first circle and is concentric with the first circle. A plurality of air outlets (20) are formed between a plurality of the air guide pieces (19) and the neighboring air guide pieces (19). A plurality of exhaust outlets (21) is formed in the periphery corresponding to the air outlets (20), of the housing (14). The air guide pieces (19) with smaller volumes are used for the fan (13). Air flows are equally distributed by using the air outlets (20) between air guide pieces (19), the air pressure is reduced, the air speed is proper, and the air outlet amount is increased. Also disclosed is an air purifier (10) comprising the fan (13). The housing (14) is mounted on the top of a housing (11) of the air purifier (10).
