Abstract:
The present invention relates to an air purifier and, more specifically, to an air purifier which can remove harmful substances and viruses in the air. The air purifier according to the present invention comprises: a body part having an air inlet at the bottom thereof, having an air outlet at the top thereof, and having a flow channel which is formed inside the body part and through which air rises; a prefilter provided in the channel of the body part; a tubular cell-type discharge device provided in the channel of the body part to generate active species; a dust-collecting device provided in the channel of the body part and including a discharge part which comprises a linear discharge electrode and a dust collection part which collects dust charged by the discharge part; an ozone removal device provided in the channel of the body part to remove ozone generated from the discharge device and/or the dust-collecting device; and an air fan provided in the channel of the body part.
