The present invention relates to an air purifier which can be installed on the rear end of a vehicle and, more specifically, to an air purifier which can be installed on the rear end of a vehicle and comprises: an inflow pipe body having a length corresponding to the width of the vehicle and a slit hole formed therein; an air pump which forcibly sucks air from the inflow pipe body; and a filter means which purifies air discharged from the air pump. Thus, the air purifier sucks up fumes and particulate matter exhausted from an exhaust line of the vehicle while simultaneously sucking up particulate matter and dust generated around the tires during driving of the vehicle, purifies the particulate matter, fumes, and dust, and discharges the purified air into the atmosphere. Therefore, particulate matter and various types of dust which are directly or indirectly discharged from the vehicle can be effectively removed, and moreover, the spread of particulate matter into the atmosphere can be maximally suppressed. Accordingly, the air purifier has an effect of noticeably reducing the amount of particulate matter generated by a vehicle.
