Abstract:
This air purifier (10) is provided with a casing (11), a pre-filter (21), a dust sensor (60), and a fan (40). A left-side suction port (12b) for drawing in air, and a discharge port for discharging the air drawn in from the left-side suction port (12b) are formed in the casing (11). The pre-filter (21) purifies the air drawn in from the left-side suction port (12b). The dust sensor (60) detects dust included in the air drawn in from the left-side suction port (12b). The fan (40) generates an air flow such that the air drawn in from the left-side suction port (12b) passes through the pre-filter (21). Furthermore, the dust sensor (60) is disposed in the vicinity of the left-side suction port (12b) such that the amount of air passing through the dust sensor (60) is not reduced.
