Abstract:
Provided is an air purifier (M) having a main unit case, a fan for drawing indoor air into the interior of the main unit case, an air-purifying filter for purifying the air drawn in by the fan, a person detection device for detecting the location of a person, and a main unit rotation mechanism for rotary operation of the main unit case to change the direction. The person detection device is installed in the main unit case. The person detection device experiences rotary operation in the horizontal direction. The main unit rotation mechanism drives the rotation of the main unit case in response to a detection result of the person detection device, and changes the direction of the main unit case.
