Abstract:
Provided is an air purifier comprising: a filter for purifying air; a casing for holding the filter; a front cover (10) for covering the filter; an ultraviolet irradiation device (70) for irradiating the filter with ultraviolet radiation. The front cover (10) can be mounted to and removed from the casing. The ultraviolet irradiation device (70) is covered with the casing and the front cover (10). The ultraviolet irradiation device (70) stops irradiation with ultraviolet radiation when the front cover (10) is removed.
