Abstract:
Disclosed is an air regulating device for a vehicle such that an airflow path formed in a unit case (2) is branched into a bypass flow path and a heated flow path; that a heater core (13) is installed in the heated flow path; and that furthermore, the airflow which has passed through the heated flow path is blown out into a vehicle interior after being made to join the airflow which has passed through the bypass flow path. In said air regulating device, heater core upper shoulder support sections (24, 25) are provided on both left and right side surfaces (2A, 2B), respectively, of the unit case (2), said heater core upper shoulder support sections (24, 25) serving to support only left and right shoulder sections (13A, 13B) of the heater core (13), which is installed on the bottom surface of the heated flow path. On the basis of the above, it is possible to simplify the configuration of the unit case, to facilitate molding, to save the weight and reduce the cost due to a decrease in the amount of resin used, and furthermore, to make an HVAC unit compact and lightweight.
