Abstract:
An air release valve for a compression bag, having a base body (2), a lid body (3), and
a valve body (4). The base body (2) has an air release opening (22) for connecting the
inside and outside of a compression bag, the lid body (3) has on its upper surface a
lid body side through hole (32) communicating with the inside of the lid body (3),
and the valve body (4) can close the air release opening (22) when it is sucked to
the air release opening (22) by negative pressure inside the compression bag. A
pressing section (33) as a projection for pressing the valve body (4) is provided on
the lower surface of the lid body (3). A valve body receiving chamber (S) is defined by
a side wall (24) and a partition wall (21) of the base body (2) and also by the lower end
of the pressing section (33) of the lid body (3). The valve body (4) is placed in
the valve body receiving chamber (S), is in a free state in which it is not fixed to
the base body (2) nor to the lid body (3) and is not urged by an elastic body, and is
movable up and down in the valve body receiving chamber (S).
